In 1951 (the 40th year of the Republic of China), fiveferry companies, Fei Ma, Chung Yi, Jing Qiang, Tung Hsin, and Guan Guang, were
established. Recognizing the inconvenience faced by residents of Liuqiu in
traveling between Taiwan's main island and Liuqiu, these companies began
operating transportation ships to and from Donggang

and Xiaoliuqiu respectively, to serve the local residentsof Liuqiu.

The " Tung Hsin " cruise ship was built by theAustralian shipbuilding company SBF in 1993. It was decommissioned and ceased
operations on June 7, 2015.

In 2001 (the 90th year of theRepublic of China), five ferry companies, namely Fei Ma, Chung Yi, Jing Qiang, Tung
Hsin, and Guan Guang, jointly established the Dongliu Line Transportation
Passenger Ship Cooperative.

The cooperative aimed toprovide residents and tourists with more convenient and comfortable maritime
transportation services, catering to their needs for sea travel.

The "Fei Ma" ferrywas built by Dragon Yacht Shipbuilding Company in 2002. It was decommissioned
on August 30, 2022.

The " Guang Hui"ferry was built by Lungteh Shipbuilding Company in 2008.

The " Chyun Yi "ferry was built by Lungteh Shipbuilding Company in 2014.

In September 2014, an onlineticketing system was launched to allow tourists to easily purchase tickets and
aboard the ferry quickly.

The " Shiang Shin " cruise ship was built by anAustralian shipyard, Commercial Shipyard. It is the first brand-new
catamaran-style twin-hull passenger ship made in Australia to be introduced in
Taiwan. The ship made its inaugural voyage on June 10, 2015.

The " Dong Sheng 11" ferry was built by LungtehShipbuilding Company in 2015. It made its inaugural voyage on September 26,
2015.

The "Fei Ma 3" ferry is the latestgeneration catamaran-style twin-hull high-speed passenger ship built by a
shipyard in Singapore. It made its inaugural voyage on October 29, 2022.
